### Preorder

<details>

<summary>Can I show the Preorder button even when a product is in stock?</summary>

**Yes.** Open the campaign → **Products** tab → **When to show Preorder** → **Always**, then **Save**. The **Preorder** button then replaces **Add to cart** whatever the stock level.

Prefer to sell normally while you have stock and switch to preorder only when it runs out? Choose **Only when out of stock** instead.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I put only some variants (e.g. one size) on preorder?</summary>

**Yes.** When you add products to the campaign, choose **Specific products** and tick only the variants you want. The other variants keep your theme's normal **Add to cart** button.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I limit how many units can be preordered?</summary>

**Yes**, when the campaign shows the button only on sold-out products:

1. Under **When to show Preorder**, choose **Only when out of stock**.
2. Tick **Limit inventory for Preorder** and enter the **Available inventory**, e.g. 50.

Once 50 units are preordered, shoppers can't add more to the cart. This option isn't available with **Reserve on fulfillment**.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I run several campaigns at once?</summary>

**Yes.** If two published campaigns include the same product, only one shows: the one with the **lowest Priority number** (0 comes first). With equal priorities, the most recently created one wins.

For example, give a holiday campaign priority 1 and your all-year campaign priority 10: during the holiday, the shared products use the holiday campaign. When it ends, they fall back to the all-year one.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How does a deposit work?</summary>

The customer pays part of the price at checkout and the rest later:

1. Open the campaign → **Settings** tab → **Payment**.
2. Choose **Deposit now, rest later** (or **Let customers choose**).
3. Set the deposit (percentage or fixed amount) and when the rest is due: days after the order, a fixed date, or when you fulfill.

The remaining balance is saved on the Shopify order. Open the order in Shopify Admin to collect it.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Deposits need **Shopify Payments** and **Use Shopify selling plan** turned on (campaign **Settings** → **Advanced**, on by default).
{% endhint %}

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I tell preorder orders apart in Shopify?</summary>

Three ways:

* **Preorder note**: every preorder item carries a note (default **Note: Preorder**) in the cart, on the order and in order emails.
* **Order tags**: add up to 5 in the campaign's **Settings** tab → **Tags**, then filter by them on Shopify's **Orders** page.
* **Preorders tab**: **Preorder** → **Preorders** in the app lists every order with a preorder item.

### Back in stock

<details>

<summary>When exactly is the restock email sent?</summary>

As soon as the variant is back in stock (with **Send automatically when back in stock** on, the default). Everyone waiting gets one email, then moves from **Pending** to **Sent**.

* **Wait for enough stock**: tick **Only notify once inventory reaches a minimum quantity**, so you don't email 200 people for 2 units. Products that don't track inventory ignore this.
* **Send it yourself**: turn automatic sending off, then send from the variant's waitlist when you're ready.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can shoppers get the alert by SMS?</summary>

**Not yet**: restock alerts are sent by email. You can still collect phone numbers by adding a **Phone number** field to the sign-up form; they're saved with each sign-up and included in your subscriber export.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I choose which products show the Notify me button?</summary>

**Yes.** In the Notify me widget → **Display rules** → **Products**: all sold-out products (default), specific products or variants, collections, or tags.

If a sold-out product is also in a preorder campaign, shoppers see only the **Preorder** button by default. Choose **Show Notify me and preorder buttons together** to let them pick.

### Emails & setup

<details>

<summary>How do I add my logo to the emails?</summary>

1. Upload your logo in Shopify Admin → **Content** → **Files**, and copy its link.
2. In the app's email editor, paste the link into **Branding** → **Logo URL**.

The link must be a public image address starting with `https://`.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can emails come from my own domain?</summary>

**Yes**, e.g. *<orders@yourstore.com>* instead of *<no-reply@tech-arms.io>*. It takes about 10 minutes: choose **Custom domain** in **Settings** → **General settings**, add the two TXT records the app shows at your domain provider, then click **Verify domain**. Until it's verified, emails keep going out from *<no-reply@tech-arms.io>*.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Can I translate the widget?</summary>

**The Preorder widget, yes**, per campaign: campaign **Settings** tab → **Translate** → **Add a language**. Shoppers see the text in the language they browse in; fields you leave empty fall back to your original text.

Only your store's published languages added to your store (other than the default). Add languages in Shopify Admin → **Settings** → **Languages**.

The **Notify me** widget and the emails can't be translated yet: write them in your store's main language. Need another language there? Tell us through **Feature request** on the dashboard.

</details>

<details>

<summary>How do I give your team access to help me?</summary>

Send us your store's **collaborator request code** (Shopify Admin → **Settings** → **Users**) in **Live chat**. We send a request; you approve it in Shopify and can remove our access any time.
